We have a clinic on each of our three campuses. B.A. Honours degree, three years of university study to obtain a Masters Degree in Psychology, four or more years of study and research to obtain the Ph.D. In addition to providing general outpatient and consultation services the clinic has a number of specialty clinics providing specialized treatment in the following areas: Depression, Anxiety, Behavioral Medicine, Pediatric Psychology, Child Psychology, Postpartum Depression, Weight Management, and Psychological Testing. Psychodiagnostic testing is used to identify current psychological concerns and possible diagnoses that may be distressing to an individual. Because we are a training clinic in a clinical psychology doctoral program accredited by the American Psychological Association, we provide the most current treatments supported by scientific research. Fees for current University of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Polytechnic students are waived. Current projects include a national evaluation of therapies (part of the Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme); research on shared decision making; and the development of models for resource need as part of the CAMHS Payment by Results project.
